Elder Poteki and I had a great week this week.  We had a mini missionary with us for almost the whole week, we got him on Tuesday night and his mom picked him up on Sunday morning.  His name was Jon Lee.  When we first got him he was super timid, shy, and kind of awkward.  By the time he left, he was going up and talking to people and starting conversations.  He also bore his testimony in sacrament.  It was awesome to see the big affect the Lord can have on us as we serve him.
At the end of the month this month we were running pretty low on miles, therefore on Wednesday we had to do a walking day because we didn't have a third bike for Jon Lee.  We walked and walked and walked.  During the day we had to take a break because we thought Jon Lee was going to die on us.  As we were out walking Elder Poteki and I had to take turns carrying his backpack.  I sweat so much that my shirt was almost completely drenched!  haha.  But, it turned out to be a great day as we were able to teach Jamie and Andy, and also we were able to go teach a lady named Martha who was a referral from a member in Vidor.  It was an awesome lesson too, the spirit was really strong.
This week we were not able to go see Jeremy as he had to go to a few family events, but we will hopefully be seeing him this week.  On Friday we had to drive up to the mission office to turn in the form to attempt to approve Andy for baptism, and to fix a spoke on a missionaries bike.  The form has been faxed to church headquarters so hopefully it doesn't take too long.  But, we were out driving a lot on Friday to say the least, y'all are going to have to call me Master Driver when I get home! haha.  Elder Poteki and I have been doing a lot of finding lately and we are going to find some more people that are prepared to receive God's message, it may take a while, but we will find them.
As we were in the car today driving over to the library we were talking about how our church just makes sense.  You take all the information the Restoration, the Plan of Salvation, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Establishment of Christ's church compared to the Establishment of the Church Today and it just makes sense.  As we were talking I thought of people that fall away from the church and was pondering on why that would happen and then my mind caught hold upon the word Remember.  The reason why people fall away from the church is because they forget or degrade the answers and influence they have received from God.  I thought back to all these experiences I have had on a mission....  The spirit filling rooms as we speak of Joseph Smith....  The light in people's eyes as they understand God's Plan for them....  The moments while studying they scriptures and tears are falling down.  There have been numberless experiences that have happened to me just in the past year and a half and many more to come.  I know that everyone has these experiences and that as we hold these experiences close to us that Satan will never be able to overtake us.  I love this wonderful message that we share and all the the happiness and peace that come with it.  I love y'all and hope y'all have a great week!
Elder Willden

And Happy Birthday Mom I love you!
